I have been hosting for about 4 years now. Started with 1 single night a week as a favor to a bar manager friend of mine. Was supposed to do it for 4-6 weeks until they got a permanent host. I ended up working there for a year and a half.
Now I have a full on mobile entertainment business called Feel Good Productions. We run 13 karaoke shows a week at 5 different venues with 4 different KJ's. We proudly own and have paid for ALL of the karaoke music we use in our shows. We have one of the largest and most diverse collections of karaoke music in the area, and frankly, I think we have one of the best collections anywhere in the U.S. We have stuff the pirates haven't bothered to steal! We also don't skimp on sound - we use Electro-Voice powered subs and tops, Allen & Heath mixers, and a variety of DSP and Compression hardware to make sure singers sound their best.
